The Central Florida Sports Commission will pursue six of the seven national championships that the NCAA plans to relocate from North Carolina because of that state’s controversial bathroom law.
The NCAA has not announced how it plans to determine new host sites. The commission is interested in the following championships for the 2016-17 academic year that will be affected:
The commission won’t pursue first- and second-round games for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, because Amway Center already is hosting games in those rounds.
